Pet Boarding

Cat Boarding

VCA Colonial Animal Hospital offers cat boarding you can trust. It is sometimes difficult to find a boarding facility that will tend to the needs of your cat while you are away. Boarding at our facility is ideal, especially if your cat has certain medical conditions that require monitoring or medication. We will review your cat's vaccination history to make sure that everything is up to date. There will be staff to monitor your cat closely and manage any problems that may arise.

Our feline facilities are sterilized between boarders and a rigorous cleaning schedule is followed. We maintain climate-control settings so your cat is comfortable both day and night. While you are away, feel free to call and check on your cat. A member of our staff will be happy to speak with you. There may be an opportunity for your cat to have additional amenities. Please ask our staff about these extras and associated costs.

Our cat condos can be reserved individually, but if space provides can also be opened up above, below, or on each side to allow cats more room, and lets cats from the same family mingle with each other.

*We can only accommodate our General Practice clients and boarding is subject to available space.*

We require all boarding patients to have an exam with our General Practice doctors, within the past year, before boarding with us. All patients need to be current on their vaccinations and free of parasites to ensure the health and safety of all animals. A 6-month negative fecal is also required for all animals boarding with us. All dogs must be current for Parvovirus, Bordetella, Distemper, and Rabies. All cats must be current on FVRCP, and Rabies. Proof of vaccines and fecal are required before we can accommodate your pets.

So that we can best accommodate your cat, please make reservations in advance, especially during the holiday season. Please call us today to set up your pet's reservation!
