The veterinary profession has been fortunate to have vaccinations against many deadly and/or serious diseases available for our patients. Recently, our profession re-evaluated recommendations with regards to vaccination frequency. At VCA Colonial Animal Hospital, we aim to protect your pet against preventable diseases while trying to minimize unnecessary vaccinations. Our vaccination recommendations are tailored to each individual pet and depend on factors such as species, age, risk of exposure, history of reaction, severity of disease, and efficacy of available vaccines.
