Susan Youngs, Referral Coordinator

Sue has worked at Colonial Veterinary Hospital since 1987, beginning as a receptionist right out of college. Sue loves working with our clients and getting to know their pets while teaming up with other veterinary practices to help people get the best care possible for their furry family members. Sue works closely with the other practices to make sure that families who are referred to us have a positive experience and their regular veterinarian is kept up to date on the pet’s care and she helps with the communications between practices. Sue knows that our doctors and licensed veterinary technicians and assistants will provide top notch, compassionate veterinary care to all patients, but also knows how stressful it can be when our pets are not well and wants to be sure we provide the best service possible. Sue, husband Jeff, and stepson Boag live in beautiful Summer Hill with Grayson, their super sweet and handsome Pitbull mix, Happy, their little, very loud, but much loved terrier mix, and last but not least Zita AKA Kitty, the lovable but sometimes feisty feline who rules the household. Sue enjoys spending time with family and friends (2 and 4 legged), walks in the woods with the dogs, baking, wine tasting, hockey, football and reading. Sue does confess to spending a little too much time enjoying HGTV shows and Hallmark/Lifetime Christmas movies. If you have questions, give Sue a call.
