Alex Vertiz grew up in Hayward, California, and move to Redding in 2022. She found her love for all animals at a young age. Alex grew up with 5 cats. After graduating from high school and attending college, she gained interest in becoming a veterinary assistant where she could help save lives. Alex joined VCA Companion Animal in August of 2024 to further her career in the veterinary industry. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and playing video games.
