At VCA Dakota Ridge Animal Hospital, we've helped pets live long, healthy and happy lives since 2007. We work hard to deliver the best medical care for your pets, and the best experience for you, the pet owner.

Proudly serving the communities of Littleton, Grant Ranch, Dakota Ridge and Ken Caryl Valley, our veterinarians, technicians and pet-friendly support staff are trained to the highest standards. Welcome to VCA Dakota Ridge Animal Hospital! We are located approximately a half mile east of C-470 on Bowles Avenue on the North side of the street.  

VCA Dakota Ridge is a friendly, comfortable, state-of-the-art full service animal medical hospital. We have been AAHA-accredited since 2016. Our skilled and caring veterinarians provide well pet and sick pet services for dogs and cats of all ages.  

We offer physical exams, vaccines, spays and neuters, pet dental care, nutrition counseling, surgeries, including orthopedics with a mobile surgeon, digital x-rays, advanced ultrasound imaging with a mobile specialist, acupuncture, domestic and international health certificates, and laboratory testing. We carry prescription diets from Hill’s and Royal Canin, as well as treats specific for your pets diet.

Services we provide:

  • VCA CareClub® Wellness Plans: Allow for early detection of disease and help reduce your pet’s health risks throughout their life, with affordable monthly payments to help you provide the best care for your dog or cat.  
  • Diagnostic Imaging: We have on-site x-rays, but are also able to provide services for echocardiogram and diagnostic ultrasounds through mobile services. 
  • Surgery: Our highly trained veterinarians are equipped to provide routine spaying and neutering, soft tissue surgeries—like mass removals and exploratory surgeries. We work with mobile surgeons to be able to provide orthopedic surgeries and advanced soft tissue surgeries. 
  • Dentistry: Along with the ability to perform dental cleanings on your pet we are also equipped to perform dental x-rays to thoroughly evaluate the crown of the tooth as well as the roots.  
  • Health Certificates: If you are planning to travel with your pet we can help. We are licensed and certified to provide both Domestic and International health certificates.  
  • Acupuncture: Is a non-invasive option to treat a variety of health issues; including arthritis, assist in pain management and reduce discomfort from organ failure.  
  • PennHip X-Rays: Dr. Linnia Munro is certified to perform PennHip x-rays for hip dysplasia.

Lionbridge provides over-the-phone and video interpretation services for non-English-speaking and American Sign Language (ASL) clients. In real time, veterinary providers can enlist an expert Lionbridge interpreter to facilitate a clear exchange of information between themselves and clients. Lionbridge’s on-demand, remote interpretation services enable effective and accurate communication with clients. This service empowers clients to be heard and spoken to in their own language, which in turn facilitates a deeper understanding of the care your pet needs.
