Tonja was born and raised in Santa Cruz, California. She is a mother and a grandmother. She enjoys fishing and hiking with her kids and dogs. After many years of working in healthcare, she as fallen in love with the world of veterinary medicine and the inspiring staff working within the field. After taking a year off, she couldn't be happier to be back in the VCA family!
