Dr. Nicole Hutchins grew up in San Antonio, Texas, and developed a passion for animal health and welfare from an early age. She attended Texas A&M University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences in 2021. She then continued her education at the Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2026.
Dr. Hutchins enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to her patients. She has a particular interest in preventive medicine and shelter medicine, appreciating the opportunity to improve both individual animal health and the well-being of larger animal populations through education, wellness care, and community outreach.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Hutchins enjoys spending time outdoors, whether that be running local trails or exploring new hiking destinations. She also loves reading, spending time with friends, and relaxing with her cat, Sharkbait, who keeps life entertaining both at home and beyond the hospital.
