Dr. Jennifer Carr has been a practicing small animal surgeon for more than 10 years. She is board certified in Small Animal Surgery and has been a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons since 2015.
She has written numerous articles for veterinary journals as well as textbook chapters. She was the first surgeon to perform SUB (subcutaneous ureteral bypass) in Ohio in 2014.
Her clinical interests include all aspects of soft tissue (surgical oncology, airway surgery, lung and chest, urinary tract, thyroid cancer, abdominal surgery, hernia repair and more) and general orthopedics (especially ACL/Cruciate ligament injuries).
Her favorite part about being a surgeon is getting to connect with pet owners and referring veterinarians in the community. In her spare time she loves spending time with her horse and competing in dressage.
