Sharyl graduated from American University in 1988 with degrees in both International Service and Spanish/Latin American Studies. She also has an Associate's Degree in Animal Science from Cedar Valley College - DEVTP 2005 and is a Licensed Veterinary Technician in Virginia. She has worked as a Veterinary Assistant and then as a Licensed Veterinary Technician for over 25 years. She has been with VCA since 1992 and at VCA Healthy Paws since 2012. Sharyl has a special interest in Behavior and has shown and trained dogs for over 30 years. Sharyl is a United States Temperament Testing Association (USTTA) - Temperament Judge Since 2005 and also a Certified Pet Dog Trainer (CPDT) from the American Pet Dog Training Association 2005. She is fluent in English and Spanish and enjoys gardening, reading and cooking.
