Dr. Caitlin Flanagan Kirkland is a Colorado native who moved to Utah in 2022. She received her veterinary degree from the University College Dublin School of Veterinary Medicine in Ireland with honors. Prior to veterinary school, she graduated from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington with a double major in Biology and Criminal Justice. Go ZAGS! Caitlin is passionate about continuing education and is working hard to get VCA Lakeview its AAHA accreditation. Her professional interests include soft tissue surgery, dentistry, internal medicine and nutrition. She also has experience in emergency and critical care. In her spare time, you can find Caitlin with her family traveling to National Parks to explore the trails or training for her next marathon. She and her husband Nathan are proud parents of two rescue dogs; Liffey (Supermutt) and Capitan (Siberian Husky) and their baby boy.
