Indya Wynn is a veterinary assistant at VCA MacArthur Animal Hospital in Washington, DC, where she supports the medical team in providing attentive, compassionate care for pets and the families who love them. She is dedicated to creating a supportive and reassuring experience during every visit, helping pets feel safe while ensuring clients feel welcomed and respected.
Indya is currently completing her veterinary assistant training through Penn Foster, with expected completion in April 2026. She is a Certified Veterinary Assistant and is committed to continuing her education as she builds her career in veterinary medicine.
Her interest in veterinary care began early in life through a deep love for animals and a strong desire to help them. Before joining the MacArthur team, she gained hands-on experience through volunteer work with shelters and through roles supporting animal care in grooming, behavioral support, and dog daycare environments. These experiences strengthened her commitment to working with animals and helping them receive the care and attention they deserve.

At MacArthur, Indya enjoys being part of a team that helps pets feel comfortable while supporting families during important moments in their pet’s care. Through her work with animals over the years, she has developed a strong appreciation for patience, kindness, and the importance of building trust. She continues to expand her skills and knowledge so she can provide meaningful support to pets and their families throughout every stage of care.
