When it comes to team leadership, mentoring, training, masterful organization skills, and rolling up her sleeves, Kristen shines brightly and unites teams together seamlessly to provide extraordinary care to clients and pets. Kristen graduated from Great Bay Community College in 2009 with an associate's degree in veterinary technology, and is working on her master's degree in health care administration/management. She obtained her Veterinary Technician Specialist credentials in Emergency Critical Care in 2017.
Kristen's work history encompasses many veterinary disciplines, including general practice medicine, anesthesia, emergency critical care and specialty practice medicine. It is our good fortune to have a technician manager with such a broad background and skillset. Before joining VCA Northwest Veterinary Specialists in 2021 as technician manager, Kristen worked at Tufts VETS as an anesthesia technician and then at Angell Animal Medical Center first as the Emergency Critical Care technician then as the specialty technician supervisor. When Kristen is not working, she enjoys the creativity of drawing/painting and spending precious time with friends, family, and beloved dog, Miss Lylah Bean the Queen.
