Phyllis Collins
Hospital Facilities Manager PHR, SHRM - CP

Starting in 2002 as the Human Resource/Inventory Specialist, Phyllis has been part of the team helping the hospital grow from a specialty only practice in one building with 45 employees, to the largest specialty and emergency hospital in the Pacific Northwest with 200 employees and four buildings. Her career growth is as impressive as our hospital's growth. Holding the positions of Human Resource Manager, Operations Manager, Hospital Administrator, Office Manager, and her current role as Facilities Coordinator, Phyllis is a powerhouse of history and knowledge and her multi-dimensional expertise has served us well!

With her extensive background in Human Resources, Phyllis is a people person whose goal is to take pride in and care of every team member and every inch of our 30,000 square foot of facilities. She consistently rolls up her sleeves and assists in any way she can ensuring team members have a safe, smooth running work environment with state-of-the art equipment. This allows staff to concentrate on what they do best — taking care of clients and pets.

Her dedication doesn't stop at work, Phyllis has been married to her best friend, Tony, for over 30 years! She has two daughters, one granddaughter, two grandsons, and an adorable orange tabby named Tahoe. When not at work, she enjoys family time, camping, walking on the beach, and sewing.

Fun Facts:

  • When Phyllis and her husband were children, they both lived in in Illinois in different towns about two hours apart and didn't meet each other until they worked at the same department store in Wyoming, about 20 years later in life.
  • Phyllis holds a bachelor's degree in marketing and although she has never held an official marketing position, the knowledge has served her well in other roles (management, retail management, human resources, inventory, and facilities).

Administration

The hospital administration team consists of management personnel who oversee all staff members, hospital activities and the facilities. Together, they keep the hospital running smoothly, ensuring quality patient care and excellent client service. From the moment you check in, our administrative staff is here to deliver the best possible experience to you and your pet before, during and after your visit.
