While walking her two rescue dogs in 2005, Nicole decided she wanted to do more for companion animals. Nicole began volunteering at a local animal shelter where she socialized shelter animals, transported animals to other rescues, participated in fundraising campaigns, fostered animals with special needs, and helped in the veterinary clinic. After deciding to make animals her career, Nicole received her veterinary technician degree from Penn Foster and became a registered veterinary technician. Nicole spends most of her free time with her husband and their pack of rescued cats and dogs.
