VCA Olympic Animal Hospital welcomes back Dr. Robert Dammeyer. Dr. Dammeyer began his veterinary career in 1991 at Olympic. In 2007 he left to pursue other opportunities, however he is ecstatic to return to where it all began. "I could not be more excited to return to a community and hospital that I consider home," says Dr. Dammeyer.
Dr. Dammeyer attended Oregon State University and received his bachelor's degree in biology in 1987. He went on to Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine, where he was frequently on the Dean's List. Dr. Dammeyer was awarded his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1991; graduating second in his class. He also received the Upjohn Clinical Proficiency Award. His professional interests include dentistry, soft tissue and select orthopedic surgeries, general small animal medicine and dermatology. His main focus lies in preventative medicine; helping pets and their owners live long healthy lives together.
