Nancy is a dedicated veterinary assistant who is currently working toward earning her veterinary technician license as she prepares to take the Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE). She began her career in the veterinary field in 2021 as a receptionist and has since worked her way up through hands-on experience, education, and a strong passion for animal care.
Nancy completed her veterinary assistant training at Pima Medical Institute and continued her education through the Veterinary Allied Staff Education (VASE) online veterinary technician program. She continues to grow professionally through her work at VCA Peninsula and the Animal Healing Center, where she is also gaining experience in holistic and integrative veterinary medicine.
Born and raised in Chula Vista, California, Nancy has always had a deep love for animals. She is a proud dog mom to her two pit bulls, Blue and Jax. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, doing puzzles, and getting outdoors for hikes or bike rides.
