Dr. Alex Neal, originally from Tallahassee, FL, attended the University of Florida, where he studied Biology. He moved out to California to attend the UC Davis for veterinary school, earning his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM). He completed an internship here at VCA PetCare East and stayed on as an emergency veterinarian. Dr. Neal's professional interests include ophthalmology, emergency medicine, and surgery.

Outside of work, Dr. Neal enjoys playing piano, golfing, and dancing. He has two tabby cats, Clarey and Cosmo.
