Dr. Catherine Ratcliff is an Ohio native with a previous career in the earth sciences. After spending a number of years in New Mexico, Dr. Ratcliff moved to the Inland Northwest to attend Washington State University's College of Veterinary Medicine. She worked in a mixed animal practice in Lewiston, ID and Mead, WA prior to joining the VCA Ponti Animal Hospital team in 2021. Her special interests include exotic animal medicine and surgery, small animal internal medicine, and wound healing.
Dr. Ratcliff and her husband share their home in Elk, WA with 2 draft horses, 2 dogs, 3 cats, 2 guinea pigs and an Amazon parrot. When not at work, you can find Dr. Ratcliff doing yoga, working crossword puzzles and Telemark skiing.
