Veterinary Assistant - Surgery
Caitlyn began her career in the veterinary field in 2014 as a kennel assistant/receptionist and transitioned to a veterinary assistant position in 2017. She started at a general practice and moved to emergency medicine in 2020. Caitlyn is a part of the surgical department team here at VCA River. She is finishing her final semester in Penn Foster's technician program. During her off time, Caitlyn loves spending time with her fiancé, friends, and family. She enjoys kayaking, hiking, running, and doing anything outdoors. Rescue dogs are Caitlyn's favorite breed. She has a chihuahua mix named Sailor Mae and a pit-bull mix named Dakota.
