Dermaquin® is a soft chew that helps support a healthy response to allergens.  It helps fortify and support the skin’s natural barrier, making it more difficult for allergens to cause an allergic response.

Side Effects

Dermaquin® has no known serious side-effects. If your pet is using this medication for the first time please watch for any allergic reactions that might occur, if your pet develops a rash, etc call your veterinarian immediately. If you notice anything unusual, contact your veterinarian.

Dogs

Give as directed by your veterinarian.


Small/Medium Dogs 5-30 lbs

  • 5-15 lbs: Initial 2-4 week period give 1 chew per day, Maintenance give 1 chew every other day
  • 6-30 lbs: Initial 2-4 week period give 2 chews per day, Maintenance give 1 chew every day


Large Dogs Over 31 lbs

  • 31-50 lbs: Initial 2-4 week period give 1 chew per day, Maintenance give 1 chew every other day
  • 51-100 lbs: Initial 2-4 week period give 2 chews per day, Maintenance give 1 chew every day
  • >100 lbs: Initial 2-4 week period give 3 chews per day, Maintenance give 1-2 chews every day


Cautions

For Animal use only. Keep out of the reach of children. Keep in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Keep the lid tightly closed. Make sure to tell your veterinarian what other medications your pet is on. Quite often your veterinarian may prescribe two different medications, even if a drug interaction may occur. Allergic reactions to medications may occur. Be sure to inform Vetsource and your veterinarian if your pet has any known drug sensitivities or allergies. If your pet displays symptoms of an allergic reaction, call your veterinarian immediately or go to a veterinary emergency clinic. Symptoms may include but are not limited to: swollen lips, tongue, face, airways; difficulty breathing; agitation; profuse salivation; vomiting; widespread hives and itching.
