Dr. Heather Phillips has been at VCA Southwick Animal Hospital since 2008. She first graduated with honors from Cornell University in 1999; receiving a B.S. in animal science. She then received her DVM from Oklahoma State University in 2003. Afterwards, she completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at Veterinary Specialists of Rochester/Animal Emergency Service in Rochester, NY from 2003-2004. She then worked in a small animal practice with multiple locations in Rhode Island/Southeastern Massachusetts for 5 years. She is also a member of the AVMA and MVMA.
Outside of work, she enjoys reading, hiking, and traveling. Dr. Phillips lives with her husband, 2 daughters, and 2 dogs.
