Alexia is a Colorado native who moved to Fort Collins in 2022 to pursue her undergraduate degree in zoology at Colorado State University. Inspired by her childhood visits to the veterinarian with her family pets, she quickly developed a passion for veterinary medicine and hopes to attend veterinary school after completing her degree.
She began her animal care career in doggy day cares before joining VCA Animal Hospitals in 2023 as part of the Kennel team — the first step in her journey into the veterinary field, where her love for the profession continues to grow.
Outside of work, Alexia enjoys reading, listening to music, spending time with friends and family, and relaxing at home with her husband, Damion, and their 5-year-old American Bully, Lila
