Dr. Ali Sandiford joined our team with a strong foundation in both medicine and heart. She earned her veterinary degree from Oregon State University in 2018, following undergrad studies at Portland State. Originally from a small farm in Redmond, Oregon, she's always had animals at the center of her world.
Her clinical interests include cardiology, behavior, and forming lasting, trust-based connections with patients and the people who love them. Whether she's helping a nervous pet feel safe or walking a family through a tough diagnosis, Dr. Sandiford brings clarity, empathy, and steady expertise to every visit.
Outside of the hospital, life is delightfully full. You'll usually find her out in the woods with her husband, toddler, and Great Dane in tow, tending to her "chaos garden," or spending time with horses—a lifelong love that continues to ground and inspire her.
