Carolyn has been working in the veterinary field for almost 20 years and is a Board Licensed Veterinary Technician. While attending college, she had the amazing opportunity to work at the Philadelphia Zoo. She presented and lectured about various species and the importance of sustaining diversity. Her favorite task while at the zoo was keeping the elephants from throwing rocks and spraying water at the construction crew who were building the Big Cat Exhibit next to the elephant compound. Upon graduation, she started her veterinary career at the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary Hospital as an anesthetist. She later transitioned to working in the Interventional Radiology department. After several years of working with such varied patients as horses, goats, lions, monkeys, and even a Giant Galapagos Tortoise, she and her knees decided the time had come to leave nursing and change her focus to hospital operations. She has a passion for providing excellent client experiences and insuring that her associates are engaged while maintaining a healthy life-work balance while continuing to provide stellar medical care.
