Dr. Helen Plosky practiced veterinary medicine in a small animal hospital on Long Island, New York before moving with her husband to the Seattle area in 2004. The very next day she began working with the VCA West Seattle team. In her spare time she enjoys rooting for the Mariners, and spending time with Lucy (her Boston terrier) and Peanut (her grey and white domestic short hair).
Carolyn has been working in the veterinary field for 15 years and is a Board Licensed Veterinary Technician. She attended Manor College where she had the amazing opportunity to work at the Philadelphia Zoo in their educational department. She presented and educated the public about different animals at the zoo, lectured on the importance of sustaining diversity and her favorite task was keeping the elephants from throwing rocks and spraying water at the construction crew who were building a Big Cat exhibit next to the elephant compound.
