Dr. Rachel Beam was born in Plano, Texas and stayed there until she finished high school. She then made the decision to pursue a career in veterinary medicine, and made the move to Oklahoma. Dr. Beam completed her undergraduate degree in Animal Science at Oklahoma State University and then graduated from Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2022. Dr. Beam loves being a veterinarian because you learn something new every day and has a special interest in clinical pathology.
Dr. Beam has been living in Tulsa with her fiancé and a full house of all kinds of companion animals. They have four dogs (Xena, Daphne, PJ, and Bo), a cat (Major Payne), two guinea pigs (Fred and George), and a chinchilla (Hagrid). In her free time, Dr. Beam enjoys baking all kinds of treats and trying new recipes, running, reading, and traveling.
