Dr. Julie Runnfeldt grew up in Naples, Florida, and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. She joined the team at VCA All Animal Hospital in 1995 and has been providing compassionate, high-quality care to pets and their families ever since.
Dr. Runnfeldt especially enjoys soft tissue surgery and the variety that general practice offers, building lasting relationships with both her patients and the people who love them. She believes that partnering with pet owners is one of the most rewarding parts of veterinary medicine.
Outside the hospital, Dr. Runnfeldt lives in Fleming Island with her husband, Hal, and their two adventurous dogs, Tilly and Scout. When she's not caring for patients, you'll often find her on the water sailing with her canine first mates or enjoying a game of tennis.
