Dr. Manucy is a native of Orange Park, Florida. She graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997 with her DVM degree. Following graduation, Dr. Manucy completed a small animal medicine/surgery internship at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital.

She has worked at both VCA All Animal Hospital of Orange Park and VCA Fleming Island Animal Hospital since 1999.
