Dr. Susan Lewis joined the team at VCA Anderson in August of 2024. She attended the University of Michigan for her undergraduate studies, then graduated from Michigan State University in 1978 as a veterinarian, DVM.

Dr. Lewis particularly enjoys internal medicine and dermatology, and also enjoys behavior cases such as fearfulness. She is passionate about educating clients on how to help their pets and recognize pain or illness.

Dr. Lewis moved to Colorado two years ago from Switzerland with her five-week old orphaned kitten that she found in Albania. In her long-established career she has worked in Washington state, Virginia, Maryland, the Virgin Islands, Michigan (where she owned her own practice for 12 years), and Switzerland. She is happy to now call Colorado home.
