Gabrielle Goetze, Staff Veterinarian

Dr. Goetze grew up in the beautiful state of Washington before moving to California to attend University of California at Davis. After graduating in 2008 with a major in Animal Biology with an emphasis in Animal Behavior, she spent a year working as a veterinary assistant in a busy emergency veterinary hospital in Sacramento before returning to the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine for her DVM. During her time at UC Davis, she worked with a variety of animal species, including horses, raptors (birds of prey) and primates.

Dr. Goetze lives with her rescue dog, Harvey. She spends her spare time riding her horse, Chance, and also enjoys gardening, quilting, and sewing dresses and costumes. Dr. Goetze loves working with both dogs and cats, and enjoys all aspects of their care. She is particularly interested in the human-animal bond, and helping pet owners develop strong and positive lifelong relationships with their pets.
