Dr. Harre earned both her bachelor's and DVM degrees from Mississippi State University, completing both in just seven years. She joined the VCA family at VCA Three Notch in Maryland after practicing in Virginia for 15 years. Now serving as Medical Director at VCA Appalachian, Dr. Harre brings a wealth of experience and a strong passion for veterinary medicine. She especially enjoys the challenges of dentistry and surgery and has a particular interest in caring for exotic pets.
Dr. Harre recently relocated to Ellijay with her husband, Andy, two of their three children, and a "small zoo" that includes fish, lizards, chickens, cats, and dogs. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor adventures like camping, hiking, and canoeing, as well as traveling to visit her daughter and granddaughter. Some of her favorite destinations include New York City, Las Vegas, and Costa Rica.
