Dr. Emma Burke joined VCA in 2025 after completing a rotating small animal internship in Idaho. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine, following a degree in animal science from the University of California, Davis. Prior to veterinary school, Dr. Burke worked as a veterinary technician with VCA for three years, gaining hands-on experience and deepening her passion for animal care.
Originally from the San Francisco area, Dr. Burke has a special interest in dentistry and nutrition. She is dedicated to client education and values building strong relationships with pet owners to promote preventative medicine and lifelong wellness for their pets.
Outside of work, Dr. Burke enjoys running and hiking with her Siberian Husky, Irwin, and running half marathons.
