Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest—specifically Puyallup, Washington—Megan graduated from the Pierce College Veterinary Technology Program in 2003. In 2005, Megan relocated to the Bay Area, where she began her career as a registered veterinary technician at Broadway Animal Hospital and has been dedicated to the field ever since.
At home, Megan is surrounded by animals of all kinds, including her black Lab, Maggie, four cats–Ollie, Rocket, Penelope Pizza, and Daphne—and five chickens–Ellie, Ethel, Red, Peggy, and Margo. When Megan is not working, she is usually on the go with her husband and two busy kids traveling to their competitive soccer and dance events, and cheering them on in productions with their local community theater. When Megan finds a little free time, she loves to bake.
What Megan loves most about her job is her incredible team and the opportunity to work hands-on with animals every day—especially the spicy cats, which hold a special place in her heart.
