From an early age, growing up in Amityville, New York, my parents instilled in me a love for animals as well as a strong work ethic. Veterinary school was inevitable, as I was certain my dream job would combine my interests in both medicine and animals. Since receiving my degree in veterinary medicine from Cornell University in 1981, I have been a proud Oakland resident serving the pet owner community for over 30 years. Dr. Schulze is a Bay Area Native, growing up in a farm-like setting with a menagerie of pets and has always enjoyed the companionship of various animals.
Dr. Schulze received his degree in Veterinary medicine from UC Davis in 1996 and has developed special interests in cardiac and abdominal ultrasound. He looks forward to coming to work each day and having the opportunity to help both people and their pets.

Elizabeth was born in Philadelphia, PA, but raised in Northern California where she now resides with her husband, along with Brooks the Belgian Malinois, three cats; Sam the Tuxedo, Erik, an orange Tabby, and Archie, a feral Scottish Fold mix that share their home.
