Growing up in a family of veterinarians, Dr. Nanda developed an early passion for animal health and surgery. Originally from Vancouver, BC, he earned his veterinary degree abroad before returning to Canada, where he practiced general medicine for two years. To pursue his long-standing interest in surgery, he completed a small animal rotating internship at IronHorse Vetcare in Northern California, followed by surgical internships at Chesapeake Veterinary Surgical Specialists in Maryland and BluePearl Pet Hospital in Southfield, Michigan. He then completed a three-year residency in small animal surgery at BluePearl Southfield.
Dr. Nanda is committed to building strong, collaborative relationships with both pets and their families. His clinical interests include orthopedic, soft tissue, oncologic, and minimally invasive surgery, with a focus on enhancing each patient's quality of life.
Outside of the operating room, Dr. Nanda enjoys playing basketball, hiking, working out, and spending time with friends and family.
