Dr. Peterson received her veterinary degree with honors from the University of California Davis. After completing a rotating internship at VCA West Los Angeles, Dr. Peterson elected to pursue a position in small animal emergency medicine. She was very excited to join the VCA CVS Ontario team. Within the field, she enjoys challenging cases, particularly those integrating Internal Medicine and infectious disease.

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Peterson enjoys exploring new places with her identical twin sister, April. Some of her other favorite activities include hiking, reading, collecting movies, and cuddling with her beloved Yorkie, Nicollette.
