Dr. Rachel Lee is a Southern California native and began her veterinary career as a veterinary technician, working in general practice as well as an educator at the Santa Ana Zoo. She received her veterinary degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA, then completed a small animal medicine rotating internship and a diagnostic imaging specialty internship at VCA California Veterinary Specialists in Carlsbad, CA. After a very long road trip, she completed her diagnostic imaging residency at the University of Florida before another very long road trip back home to California to escape the humidity. She enjoys all diagnostic imaging modalities and how each can uniquely contribute to patient care.
Her companions along this journey include her fiancé, scruffy dog Poppy, and grumpy old cat Ethyl. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking new dishes and crocheting.
