Dr. Mix graduated from Cornell University in 1982 and started working in large animal medicine. She joined our team at Chemung Valley in 2006 and has been providing excellent care for our pets alongside her own large animal practice ever since. She has a special interest in laser therapy treatments and rehabilitation, and loves that every day is different in veterinary medicine. She lives with her four horses, 2 dogs, and 3 cats, and enjoys riding and showing horses, advanced dog training, and gardening.
