Ultrasound

An abdominal ultrasound is a non-invasive imaging procedure that uses sound waves to create detailed images of the organs and structures within your pet’s abdomen. It can help our veterinary team evaluate areas such as the liver, kidneys, bladder, spleen, gastrointestinal tract, and other abdominal organs.

Abdominal ultrasound may be recommended when your pet has unexplained symptoms, abnormal bloodwork, or other concerns that require a closer look at what’s happening inside the abdomen.

If you have questions about whether an abdominal ultrasound may be appropriate for your pet, please contact our hospital at 586-228-8933. Our team will be happy to answer your questions and discuss whether this service may be beneficial for your pet.

We’re excited to continue expanding the diagnostic services available to help provide your pets with the best possible care!
