Dr. Dan Hurley grew up in Cranston, RI, and then completed his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Duke University in Durham, NC in 1997. He returned to the northeast to earn his doctorate at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, in 2001, where he met his future wife and fellow veterinarian, Dr. Suzanne Gerber. After completing an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the MSPCA Rowley Memorial Animal Hospital in Springfield, MA, Dr. Hurley moved to Connecticut and joined the Cromwell Animal Hospital and Kennels staff in 2002. Outside of the office, Dr. Hurley spends time with his family hiking and letterboxing, sailing, cooking and wine-tasting, and is an avid college basketball and football fan. They share their home with a cat named Georgia.
