Dr. Ervin (Dennis) graduated in 1987 from the University of Missouri Columbia. After graduation she completed an internship in the Bay Area and has been in the Contra Costa County ever since. Dr. Ervin purchased Ygnacio Animal Hospital in Walnut Creek in 1994 where she had the honor and pleasure of working with amazing families and their furry companions for over 20 years. She sold her practice in 2014 and soon after moved to Oakley with her three awesome sons, her Pit Bull, Ellie, and her cat, Bob. Dr. Ervin not only enjoys working with dogs and cats. She also works with rabbits, guinea pigs, and other 'pocket pets.' She is a PennHIP certified veterinarian, practices Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation (V.O.M.), a type of chiropractic adjustment, and is also certified as a VetStem provider, giving our practice the possibility of using Stem cell treatment for our arthritic pets.
