Hi everyone, my name is Sandra Palacios.  I am originally from Los Angeles, California and my family & I moved to Las Vegas back in 2005. When I was young,  I always had a love for animals and I knew that I wanted to work with animals when I grew up. 

My veterinary journey started back in LA where I worked for a wonderful veterinarian for 10 years. I also did a year of research at USC School of Pharmacy and before that, I did a summer externship at UC Davis, School of Veterinary Medicine. 

I've been in this field close to 20 years now and I've enjoyed every minute of it.  In my free time, I enjoy bike riding, playing basketball, reading, volunteering at the Gilcrease Nature Sanctuary, and spending time with my husband, son and with all of my fur babies.
