Dr. Wilkin grew up in Apopka, Florida, and attended Apopka High School. She attended Howard University in Washington, D.C., where she graduated with her bachelor's degree in biology in 2020. After Howard, she attended Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine and earned her DVM in 2024. Dr. Wilkin enjoys surgery and assisting her local animal shelter.

In her free time, Dr. Wilkin enjoys reading fantasy novels, going to Disney World, and spending time at the beach with her dog, Lola.
