Jess Chalfa joined VCA Emergency Animal Hospital & Referral Center in 2018, bringing compassion and dedication to her role as Lead CSR and Patient Advocate. Her primary responsibility is to assist doctors in communicating updates and treatment plans to pet owners, ensuring they are informed and supported throughout their pet's healthcare journey. For Jess, educating and guiding pet owners through difficult times is what makes her work so meaningful.
Jess has a deep professional interest in emergency medicine, her favorite area of veterinary care. She aspires to attend veterinary school in the near future to further her knowledge and passion for helping animals. Inspired by the intelligent doctors she works alongside, Jess enjoys learning the intricate science behind veterinary medicine.
Outside of work, Jess loves staying active in the great outdoors. She enjoys skiing, snowboarding, and spending quality time with her beloved horses. Her connection to animals and the natural world is evident in both her personal and professional life.
