Patty joined Fitzgerald Animal Hospital in 2015 as the Practice Manager although she worked for many years as a technician here. Patty has been a certified veterinary technician for over 35 years! She started her veterinary career at Vermont Technical College which had only begun offering the veterinary technician program. Her interests included cytology and laboratory but also had an opportunity to work with a veterinary ophthalmologist which then lead to her love of the eyes. What she has always enjoyed the most is interacting with the families and their pets. "What a fantastic job we have where we get to know and love these creatures and their families. We all become one family." In her spare time, Patty loves to garden, make handmade cards, read and entertain friends and family. She lives with her husband, their lovely little cavalier, Lilly, and two wonderful guinea pigs, Chatterly and Chappie.
