Staff Veterinarian
DVM
My love and compassion for animals started at a very young age by helping my parents feed the wildlife and stray cats in my neighborhood. My late father and I would take the injured to our local animal shelter and it was then when I was first introduced to the veterinary field!
I grew up in Alhambra, CA, about 20 minutes away from Downtown Los Angeles. Having never left California, I made the decision to move across the country to attend Syracuse University (Go Orange!) and graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Biology with a minor in Political Science. I moved back to my home state and obtained my veterinary degree from UC Davis (Go Aggies!).
My interests include preventative medicine, surgery, and behavior. I enjoy running, reading, and trying new restaurants. I also love to travel and road trip with family and friends. Fun fact: I am bilingual in Spanish and English!
