Dr. Johannigmeier, originally from Virginia, completed her education at Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. She moved with her family, including two fluffy cats, to Illinois in 2024.  
She has a special interest in feline medicine and internal medicine. She loves having the opportunity to care for some of our most vulnerable and she particularly enjoys seeing all of the cats!

In her free time, she hangs out with her husband and daughter, and her outside interests include working out and reading.
