Lindsay grew up in St. Charles, IL. She moved to Champaign in 2008 to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Animal Sciences at the University of Illinois. She has lived in Champaign ever since! She received an Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology in 2017 from Parkland College. She lives with her husband, Kyle; Clooney, a soft-coated retriever; Swiss, a feline Ragdoll; and Pablo (Peter), a long-hair tabby.

Lindsay's hobbies include crocheting, working on home improvement projects, camping and running.
