Dr. Wendy Chen is a compassionate veterinarian with experience in general practice, emergency medicine, and shelter care. Born in Taiwan and raised in Los Angeles' South Bay, she began her veterinary journey in high school through an animal hospital externship and fostering kittens. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from the University of California, Davis, and her veterinary degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Chen is certified in veterinary acupuncture through Chi University and combines conventional medicine with acupuncture to support pain management and overall wellness. She has a special interest in integrative care that improves mobility and quality of life for her patients. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her cat, Midnight, exploring new restaurants, and traveling.
