Dr. Caroline Stark is a native of northwest Ohio. She attended Northview High School in Sylvania before earning a BS in Zoology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2009. She obtained her DVM degree in 2013 from The Ohio State University, where she was a member of the Alpha Psi Honor Fraternity. After graduation, Dr. Stark completed a one-year specialty internship in Food Animal Medicine and Surgery at OSU before returning to the Toledo area to practice small animal medicine. She practiced in Perrysburg for 2.5 years before coming to VCA Holly Farms in March of 2017. Dr. Stark's special interests include preventive medicine and soft tissue surgery.
Dr. Stark and her husband, Drew, have three daughters, Hazel, Millie and Phoebe, two cats (Henry and Langdon) and one dog (Frances). Their pets are all named after streets in Madison, WI. In her spare time, Dr. Stark enjoys boating/sailing, gardening and family trips to New England. She also has a special affinity for small ruminants (goats, sheep, llamas and alpacas), though she no longer works with them.
